Mission
Ekenyoro NC is a benevolent group that supports members during bereavement. The group operates on trust, goodwill, and mutual responsibility.
Definitions
Coverage Area: 100-mile radius from Raleigh, NC
Bereavement Event: Death of a covered member/relative
Coordinator: Leaders of Ekenyoro
COE: Council of Elders
Normal Contribution: The standard contribution set annually
AGM & SGM: Annual General Meeting / Special General Meeting
Membership
§ 1.1
Eligibility
Membership is open to:
• Individuals from Omogusii within the coverage area
• Foreign spouses of Omogusii members

Registration
Registration opens once a year before AGM. Membership remains valid while guidelines are followed.

Late Applicants
May pay a $100–$200 penalty if previously residing in the coverage area for 2+ years.

Vetting
Coordinators vet and approve applicants; ratified during AGM.

Spouses
If one spouse is from the Omogusii, the non-Omogusii spouse may join.

A new member receives benefits after:
• Participating in 3 events, OR
• After 3 months of membership
